Features the history of Florida’s State Constitution Convention which was held in the old city of St. Joseph and the history and artifacts of the city’s past.


Constitution Monument and Park

Located on the grounds of the State Museum.

Features a large marble monument erected in 1922 which bears the names of the constitution convention delegates engraved in the marble. The park features a beautiful promenade of palm trees that lead from the monument to St. Joseph’s Bay along with many large picturesque oak trees. Perfect for a picnic although no facilities are available.


Cape San Blas Lighthouse

Approximately 3 miles from Scenic Hwy C-30 on Cape San Blas.

Features the lighthouse and two houses which were the lighthouse keeper’s quarters. No entry to either the lighthouse or the keeper’s quarters is permitted.


St. Vincent Island Wildlife Refuge

Just off shore from the Indian Pass public boat ramp at the end of Indian Pass Road.

Access is by ferry or private boat during daylight hours only.

Features include fishing, hiking, biking, photography, bird watching and shelling. Several exotic, endangered, and threatened species of wildlife inhabit the island such as bald eagles, loggerhead turtles, red wolves, gopher tortoises, and sambar deer which are around 500-600 pounds. There are also a wide variety of other species along with countless species of birds throughout the year. Indian artifacts are frequently seen on the island however they must never be tampered with or removed from their location.
